Elena Blanco

Professor at University of Oviedo

Elena Blanco holds a PhD in Education and Psychology from the University of Oviedo, and her academic career focuses on the study of student wellbeing and the factors contributing to university dropout. She is a member of the ADIR research group at the University of Oviedo, where she collaborates with leading experts in the field of learning difficulties and higher education retention, including Ana B. Bernardo, Ellián Tuero and José Carlos Núñez. Her work aims to understand the psychoeducational dynamics that shape the university experience, with the goal of designing intervention strategies that foster inclusion, resilience and student success. Through interdisciplinary projects and scientific publications, she seeks to contribute to the development of educational policies that are more responsive to students’ needs.
