Ellián Tuero holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Oviedo, where she currently works as a professor in the Department of Psychology. Her academic interests centre on the study of academic motivation, self-regulated learning, and the factors that influence university dropout and student success. As a member of the ADIR research group, she contributes to national projects focused on improving retention and promoting student wellbeing in higher education. Her work seeks to integrate psychological and educational perspectives to better understand students’ learning experiences and to develop strategies that enhance engagement, resilience and academic achievement.
